Looking for new ways to snack on protein packed cottage cheese? This is a healthy cottage cheese snack that can be thrown together in just a few minutes! Just cottage cheese, peaches and honey- so easy!

Ingredients in this Cottage Cheese Snack
- Cottage Cheese – I prefer using 4% cottage cheese because I think it is much more flavorful. However, any kind can be used. If local, my favorite cottage cheese is from WW Homestead Dairy which you can find in many stores throughout Iowa and probably the surrounding states.
- Peaches – for convenience, I used the single serve size of the diced peaches from Sam’s Club. I buy these in bulk and my kids and I love them as a quick snack. This would taste amazing with fresh peaches though, especially when in season!
- Honey – the honey in this recipe is raw and local, but any honey will work. Just a bit of honey goes a long way, and it really makes this snack extra!
Cottage Cheese Snack Variations or Substitutions
- try maple syrup instead of honey
- add berries or mango to substitute peaches
- sprinkle cinnamon on your cottage cheese, peaches and honey
- I have seen people add mint to the snack, but I don’t like mint, so cannot say if it would be good or not!
Leftover Storage
There really shouldn’t be any leftovers, since this recipe is for 1 serving, but if you decide to save some for later: store in an air tight container for up to 1 day. It will get watery if it sits too long- so I would recommend eating it right away.

Sweet Cottage Cheese Snack with Peaches & Honey
Equipment
- bowl and measuring utensils
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese I prefer 4% but any can be used
- 1/2 cup peaches diced or fresh
- 1-2 tsp honey or to taste
optional extras
- pinch cinnamon or min leaves (not both-one or other!)
Instructions
- measure your cottage cheese out and add to bowl
- add diced peaches. I use single serving of diced peaches in package from members mark- but fresh would taste even better.
- drizzle with honey to taste
- optional: sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon OR add mint to the dish for extra flavor.
- ENJOY!
