Hi there, I’m Bobbi Jo--the home cook behind Recipes from French Creek where I share practical, comforting recipes for busy families who want homemade meals that are easy to prep, quick to make and can be enjoyed with the family around the dinner table.

From Our Farm to Your Kitchen
Many recipes you find here are beef focused, because beef is a big part of how we cook and live. Our family raises beef cattle, so I spend a lot of time developing recipes that use real cuts of meat, stretch well for families, and work for both weeknight dinners and freezer meals. While you’ll still find other family favorites here, beef recipes are a cornerstone of this site.

Real-life cooking experience
In addition to cooking for my family, I also own a freezer meal business, where I prepare hundreds of freezer meals each month for my local community, and teach classes! My freezer meal business shapes how I develop recipes- meals need to freeze well, reheat well, and still taste great days or weeks later. Every recipe on this site is tested in my own kitchen and with those same standards in mind.
