These Ranch Flavored Cauliflower Bites are a quick, delicious and low calorie side dish to make with dinner. These are flavorful bites that take simple ingredients you likely have already in your home. Cauliflower florets, panko bread crumbs, ranch seasoning and egg are the only ingredients needed to create this at home.

The best part about this side dish, as a mom, is that most of my kids will eat it! Let’s be honest, even the best recipes it seems there is 1 child that still will not eat it, though! I paired this with a buffalo sauce, but there are creative seasonings you could use in this in place of ranch to make these buffalo bites, too!
Cauliflower Bite Ingredients
- Cauliflower: I used a 14 oz bag of frozen florets. Could you use fresh? Probably- but I have not tried it myself. I do not thaw them but keep them frozen.
- Eggs – 2 large eggs to bind the panko to the floret.
- Panko Bread Crumbs – I used great value brand of plain panko bread crumbs. You could also try a flavored mixture if you’re up for it.
- Ranch Seasoning: since I’m using plain panko this mixture needed a bit of seasoning. I used dry ranch mix.
Substitutions and Variations:
As mentioned above, try fresh cauliflower if you’d like- but baking times will likely vary.
Use a flavored panko bread crumb mix
Try a spicy ranch seasoning like fiesta for a little heat.
How to make Oven Baked Cauliflower Bites
- Preheat your oven to 400 F. Then prepare your ingredients by whisking eggs together in small bowl, and mixing the panko and ranch seasoning together in a medium sized bowl.
- Next you’ll open up your frozen bag of cauliflower and dip into the egg mixture first, and then toss it in the panko mixture to fully coat the entire floret. After that, place it on the sheet pan and continue with the rest of the florets.
- Bake in oven for about 30-35 minutes, tossing the cauliflower over in the sheet pan about half way through.
- Enjoy!
What to dip the cauliflower bites in?
I used a simple recipe of 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt, 2 tbsp hot sauce and 1 tbsp honey. My kids do not like spice and simply dipped in ketchup or ranch.
Do these make good leftovers?
Not really. They are best eaten immediately. If you are going to store them as a leftover, I recommend warming by air fryer or oven to help keep them crispy.
