These Hawaiian Roll Pizza Sliders are sure to be a hit- Hawaiian rolls, pepperoni, ground beef, Canadian bacon, cheeses and a garlic butter glaze. Perfect easy, quick dinner ready in under 45 minutes that the whole family will love.
What ingredients do you use in 3 Meat Pizza Sliders?
Meat – Now, you don’t HAVE to use 3 meats, and these can be interchangeable. I used pepperoni, canadian bacon & ground beef. Feel free to switch with ground sausage, turkey, or leave out one of the meats if you do not like it.
Cheese- the star of the show. I used shredded mozzarella cheese inside the Hawaiian sliders, and then parmesan was used in the buttery garlic glaze on top.
Hawaiian rolls- grab a 12 pack of these sweet Hawaiian roll sliders. Do the pizza sliders need a certain brand of Hawaiian rolls? No. I have used Kings Hawaiian, Sara Lee, and Good & Gather/Great Value brands before- they all work well.
Pizza Sauce – pick whatever your favorite pizza sauce is, or make your own. Spread a light layer of pizza sauce on the sliders, and save the rest of the jar for dipping. You do not want to put too much sauce on the sliders or they could get soggy. Be sure to put the sauce on last- on top of the meat & cheese to also help avoid sogginess!
Buttery Glaze – butter is the obvious ingredient with this however you could substitute with olive oil, then add your parmesan cheese, a healthy tablespoon of minced garlic, and a little basil & oregano.
Are these Hawaiian Roll Pizza Sliders freezer friendly?
Absolutely, these sliders are freezer friendly. Skip the baking steps and just store in a freezer safe pan, sealed well to prevent freezer burn. When ready to eat- thaw and bake in oven according to the instructions in the recipe card. You could toast the bottoms the rolls to help prevent them from getting soggy OR skip adding the pizza sauce and just use it for the dipping.
Can you use any brand of Hawaiian Rolls in pizza sliders?
Yes, I have tried multiple different brand for these sliders and all have worked just fine- Kings Hawaiian, Sara Lee, and off-brands like Good & Gather or Great Value have worked fine.
Do I have to use 3 meats in this pizza slider recipe?
No, you don’t have to. You can use 1 kind and just add a little more of it, or replace with your own favorite meats.
