Simple homemade taco seasoning
This taco seasoning is pretty self explanatory. The only substitution I would suggest is replacing a couple teaspoons on the regular paprika with smoked paprika. If you like a little kick feel free to add some pepper flakes or hot chili powder.
This recipe was inspired by the McCormick taco seasoning recipe. I just made a couple minor changes (it was a little too salty for me).
This seasoning mix could be used with ground turkey or venison too. Use it as a rub on chicken. Make a large batch and store in an air tight container.
