Simple Bread Machine Italian Bread - 5 ingredients

This italian bread is very simple and turns out beautifully in the bread machine! You just need 5 ingredients that are likely already in your pantry - flour, sugar, salt, yeast and water!

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cup all purpose flour or bread flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1.5 cups water room temp
  • 2 tsp instant dry yeast or bread machine yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Instructions
 

  • Dump all the ingredients into the bread machine per your machines instructed method (I add the flour first, then sugar, salt, olive oil, water, yeast)
    4 cup all purpose flour, 2 tbsp olive oil, 2 tsp salt, 1.5 cups water, 2 tsp instant dry yeast
  • find "white bread" setting. Unless yours has italian seasoning. Select 2 lb loaf and your desired crust (I use light or medium crust).
  • Let cool, slice and enjoy! This recipe could be halved for a 1 lb loaf.
