Equipment

  • 1 glass for drinking (12 oz)
  • measuring utensils
  • electric frother or hand frother

Ingredients

Instructions

  • In your drinking cup, spread 1 tbsp of sugar free caramel sauce on the inside of the cup (this is optional). Then, add ice.
  • Turn tap water on hot - let run for a minute until fairly hot. Measure 1/2 cup of hot water and mix in a separate small cup with 2 tsp of the instant espresso. Once combined, pour into the cup you prepared in previous step.
  • Add 1-2 tbsp (splash) of milk in the cup if desired. I use oat milk.
  • Next, use scant 1/4 cup of milk and pour into electric frother (or cup if using hand frother). Then add 2 tbsp of protein powder. Froth until well combined. Pour on top of the espresso mixture.
  • Grab a straw and stir well. Add a bit of sugar, honey, etc if needed. Enjoy!

Notes

Notes:
Can make this warm by using warm milk and frothing on warm setting.
Substitute instant espresso with cold brew if desired and top with the protein cold foam-- another great way to make it!
