Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 10 oz egg noodles
  • 10.5 oz can french onion soup
  • 6-8 oz cream cheese or 3/4-1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2-3 tbsp milk or cream to thin out, if needed
  • 3/4 cup shredded swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, brown ground beef on medium high heat. While browning, prepare pot of water and boil egg noodles per package instructions.
  • Once the beef is cooked through, drain off any excess grease if necessary then add the onion and garlic powder. Next add the french onion soup and cubed cream cheese. Let combine and melt, stirring for a few minutes.
  • Add the cooked noodles to the meat mixture in the skillet and stir until well combined. Lastly, topped with shredded swiss and cheddar. Add the cover to the skillet for a couple minutes to help the cheese melt. Enjoy!

Notes

Tip:if needed, add a splash of milk or cream to casserole to help thin out.
Top casserole with french fried onions for a little crunch if you have them on-hand!
