This Crock Pot Creole Queso recipe is perfect for a slow Sunday watching football, or for a family potluck. I NEVER used to make chip dips, until I married my husband. Some sort of cheesy, hamburger chip dip is now a must in our household when football season begins. It also tastes great after an evening in the deer stand on a cool fall day.
If you don’t have ground beef on hand, you could easily substitute pork sausage or ground venison in this recipe. Salsa verde could also be used in place of regular salsa, and use as spicy or mild of chiles or seasonings as you please! I used tortilla chips to serve this dip, but you could also use crackers.

Notes
Crock pot liners..
I always use crock pot liners for any slow cooker dish I make. I do not have the time or patience to soak the crock pots for the burn food I have tried ‘off-brand’ liners, but have the best luck with these Reynolds Crockpot Liners.
