Wacky Cake
The best kind of cake. NOT dry, needs just a light frosting added to it (honestly I would eat it without frosting at all!), fluffy and so easy to make! No eggs or butter. If you are looking for a moist cake recipes, this is it!

Cake
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup oil canola, vegetable
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups cold water
Frosting
- 1 cup white sugar
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips
- 4 tbsp milk
Cake Instructions
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. With fingers, make 3 large holes in the dry ingredients.
Add vanilla in a hole, oil in another hole, and vinegar in the last hole.
Cover with 2 cups of cold water. Mix with beater until well combined.
Grease 9x13 cake pan. Bake at 350 F for 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out of middle clean.
FREEZES WELL: Bake the cake, frost it and slice it up and pack in the freezer if you don't need an entire cake.
Perfect kid recipe- kids love making the indents in the cake, and when you add the vinegar it fizzes a bit because of the baking soda- would be a great time to show them the vinegar + baking soda trick!
